Alex Raz is a 14 yr. old guitarist from Cleveland Ohio, who began playing guitar at age 4. Yahoo.com featured Alex's band Recess at the top of it's front page in 2009, the video for Separate Ways received over 700,000 views in 1 week.
The video was a hit all over the world.
Recently Alex performed the Star Spangled Banner at the Cavs game at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Cavs vs Pheonix Suns, March 25th, 2012.

At age 11 he won the Cleveland Cavaliers Top Talent contest on November 17, 2009 at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. He played Van Halen's Eruption between timeouts during the game to win the contest, then sang & played Sweet Child O Mine by GNR at halftime for over 20,000 fans. Played at BB King's in NYC for the Jimi Hendrix Tribute show Nov 2010. And to end 2010, opened for Rick Derringer & Pat Travers Band on New Year's Eve in Columbus.

Received guitar endorsement at age 11 by Dean Guitars. Also endorsed by Ergotar & Line 6 Amplification. At age 9, recorded with the legendary Ralphe Armstrong, bassist from the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Aretha Franklin & Frank Zappa & more. Ralphe also invited Alex in 2011 to play live on his TV show in Detroit, proud to call Ralphe a good friend! More stuff... 2010 he was invited to play the Star Spangled Banner at a Cleveland Indians game, and also played Anthem at 2009 MAC Men's & Women's Finals game at Quicken Loans Arena. The video of the performance was featured on Yahoo.com's "Got Talent" network.
